Kerry Evenden - Vocals, Clarinet & Sax
Kerry initially started her musical life as a classical Clarinettist and Saxophonist. She won a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship and Louisiana State University Scholarship to study for a Masters in clarinet perfomance with Professor Steven Cohen at LSU. She has played with various different Orchestras/Chamber groups in the UK and US including the Baton Rouge Symphony, Sussex Symphony, Sussex Symphony Wind Quintet, Musicians of All Saints and Tacet Ensemble. Kerry also sings lead vocals for 15 piece Swing band 'Swing Street'. She discovered a joy of singing relatively late in life but always tries to include the clarinet and saxophone in all performances!!
Holly Manktelow - Piano
An exceptionally gifted pianist who also started life as a classical musician, gaining a place to study piano at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music. Holly's Jazz playing style has been likened to Thelonius Monk, but she has developed her own distinctive style. She has a full mastery of the piano with a fabulous technique, but more importantly a beautiful lyricism to her playing. She is an incredibly sensitive musician and her ability to adapt to whatever is happening around her is second to none!
